Caroline Hipps
Caroline serves Claritas as Director of Community Engagement. In her role, she focuses on expanding the Claritas ecosystem by building connections with companies and individuals interested in partnering with Claritas as an investor, portfolio company, or advisor.
Additionally, she collaborates with the broader Claritas team on strategies, events, and initiatives that deepen the firm’s impact across the evolving Nashville community.
Previously, Caroline served as Chief Operating Officer for Wellspire Center, Nashville's premier corporate event venue. Overseeing all day-to-day operations, Caroline led the company through initiatives that attracted clients such as Amazon, Alliance Bernstein, CAT Financial, HCA, and others. Before joining the Wellspire team, Caroline focused on sales both within the private and public sector, helping close contracts with leading Fortune 500 companies as well as top government agencies.
Caroline earned her Master of Organizational Leadership and Bachelor of Science in Human and Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University, where she also played and coached women’s basketball. She holds the Commodore’s all-time three-point field goal percentage, is the SEC record holder for career three-point percentage, and ranks fifth all-time in the NCAA for career three-point percentage.
Caroline is an active board member, executive committee member, and former chair of the Nashville Sports Council. She also enjoys playing golf, cheering on the Commodores, and traveling with her husband and two children.
